What if Arsenal gets relegated from the Premier League?

Arsenal’s badge consists of a Cannon but it looks like their cannon has stopped working for a long time. The club has hundreds of thousands of fans from all around the world but their recent performance may lead them to change their favourite club. Arsenal is on the brink of getting relegated from the Premier League, they stand in the last position with 0 points.

The last time Arsenal got relegated was in 1919. Since then the club has stayed in the top flight of English football. The journey throughout all this time was a rollercoaster filled with good memories and bad memories.

We can’t imagine Arsenal ever playing in the Sky Bet League and if that ever happens a lot of people will lose complete faith in the club and their players.

What happens if Arsenal gets relegated?

1: Sacking Arteta

The first decision for the club after being relegated or before that will be sacking Mikel Arteta. The ex-arsenal player promised them many things but failed to succeed anything. Arteta looks like a smart young man who actually has a plan for the club but recently all his plans are failing miserably and the club is at an all-time low. Since joining in December 2019 the club did not lift any major title with him and now he is termed as ‘unfit’ by many Arsenal fans.

2: Increased protest against club owners.

The people of Arsenal hate the owners and they think that the management is corrupt. In 2020 and 2021 the club owners faced massive criticism and protests by the Gooners. Stan Kroenke should brace himself in advance before this happens.

3: Getting rid of players.

The players will be second to face the wrath of ‘The Gooners’. The most common target would be Aubameyang, Lacazette, White and every player that did mistakes in this season. The club will get rid of these players and form a new team to regain the confidence of their fans.

4: Emirates Stadium will get empty

As soon as people know that their favourite team has dropped out of the Premier League many of them will stop going to the stadium. The attendance of Emirates will go to an all-time low and will deeply affect the pockets of the club. Arsenal getting relegated can pull them down from where they started.

How will Arsenal react after getting relegated?

The club is formed by the hard work and dedication of many many since the formation of the club. It all started in South East London where David Danskin a football enthusiast started a club with his 15 co-workers. These co-workers used to work on cannons and as a result, the club got the nickname ‘The Gunners’.

Arsenal would react by winning the Championship with flying colours and get back to the Premier League after learning their message.

The club is used to change managers frequently but maybe the problem doesn’t lie in the club manager. The problem of Arsenal is very complex yet crucial to overcome if they want to win.

Arsene Wenger the French Genius shaped the club with new ideas and techniques. Under his management, Arsenal reached their climax with Wenger by conquering 3 Premier League titles and 4 FA Cup titles in just 8 years of his arrival. The magic of Arsene Wenger didn’t work for some years and the fans looked at him as the problem.

Eventually, Wenger was sacked and since then the club is doomed. Getting new managers didn’t do the trick for them and maybe doing something else will.

No one can ever imagine Arsenal getting relegated from the Premier League. They are the oldest team that has never got relegated since 1919. The legacy can’t be destroyed at any price. The odds of Arsenal relegating are (33/1).

It’s avoidable but it is still possible.
