Disruption from the pandemic is continuing to create huge economic pressures from the top to the bottom of the football pyramid and, while we are fortunate to be in a more resilient position than most clubs, we are not immune from the impact.

Chief Executive of Manchester United

Struggling from their economic situation The Red Devils still managed to bag in Bruno Fernandes, Donny van de Beek, and Edison Cavani. Rumors regarding signing Jadon Sancho emerged within fans and media but the club didn’t pursue Jadon as their main target.

Manchester United is having an average season with a Manchester derby in hand on the 12th of December 2020. With 3 losses and 5 wins from 9 matches, they are standing at 9th position. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position is in jeopardy because of the recent losses faced by the team but Ed backs Ole Gunnar and reveals long-term plans for the club which includes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in it.

Manchester United required a  world-class striker and they got their man Edison Cavani who has been in great form recently scored two goals against Southampton. One of the main challenges for United is getting through the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. They face RP Leipzig on Wednesday, winning this game will get them through the Champions League Knock Out stages.

Manchester United have many young talents which can help them from getting out of current situations. A long season is ahead of us. Let’s hope for the best.
