Everton Are Interested In Brazil's Striker
Everton in the current transfer window, are trying to make massive changes in their squad. The elites are getting talents from all around the world in England to make them competitive for the fight that lies ahead. According to recent reports, Rafael Benitez is interested in Flamengo striker Gabigol.

After the departure of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid, it was certain that Everton will undergo big changes. The first transfer anticipated by the fans was of James Rodriguez, to our surprise it did not happen as Madrid doesn’t need him. Benitez is an experienced manager who has managed Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Napoli and many other teams in the past. The manager does not want Everton to fully rely on Dominic Calvert-Lewin although Dominic has been great for them in front of the goal.

Gabriel Barbosa who is also known as Gabigol or Gabi play for Flamengo which is situated in Brazil his home country. The people of Brazil love him and Flamengo is one of the biggest clubs in their country. The player won the Brazilian League and Super Copa last season with the club and he looks hungry for more trophies. Gabigol is just 24 years old and can afford to take risks at this age of going to a different club.
Everton will benefit from the striking capabilities and experience of Gabigol if he moves. The player will also get to play with his fellow countryman and his friend Richarlison. Some reports suggest that James Maddison may leave in this transfer window, which will give this transfer more value as people see the potential of Gabigol. Brazil reached the finals of Copa America 2021 where they lost to Argentina, Gabi played a big role to bring his country to the final.

The other attacking option available is Moise Kean who is returning from PSG after spending a year with the French giants. Kean was not in Ancelotti’s part of the plan and so he decided to loan him to PSG. Kean is full of talent and ambition and can lead Everton’s attack if he gets the chance. The Italian player has a contract with Everton till 2024 and till then they can let him grow in Premier League by playing him in most of their matches and make him a permanent player for Everton. Many teams have their eyes on Kean and the decision he will take in 2024.
Gabigol to Everton can happen and he deserves another chance to show his true self in Europe. The transfer value of Gabi is around €30M and Everton can afford him in this transfer window.
