Tyrone Mings outrage on Priti Patel has taken a storm all around the United Kingdom
England centre-back Tyrone mings was furious after the match as Priti Patel tweeted about the England National team. Patel said ” Racism has no place in our country” and “our team were subject to vile racist abuse”. A political move by a politician to enhance her image. Patel is the same woman who criticised taking the knee and termed it as ‘Gesture Politics’. Tyrone Mings didn’t like this and decided to give a befitting reply on Twitter.
People shared his tweet at an unreal speed receiving millions of likes and thousands of retweets. Mings said, “You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.”

The English player made sense and questions were asked for the Home Secretary. Patel was asked about the gesture earlier on which she said “I just don’t support people participating in that type of gesture politics, to a certain extent, as well.” It gets worse when she indirectly accepts that she’s okay with fans booing their team. Patel on fans booing the team “That’s a choice for them, quite frankly.”
One should not get to play sides and use their ethnicity as a racism card to get more sympathy and votes. People want to see fair politics and they have every right to criticize their leaders.

England lost the Euro 2020 final and three young stars received extreme racist remarks on Social Media. The Prime minister of the United Kingdom is against this behaviour, he wrote “This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media. Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves.” Mr Johnson wants strict action to be taken against them but we all know that nothing will happen.
Marcus Rashford MBE wrote a long and emotional letter for his fans and critics, he is seen as an idol by many people for all the charities he’s involved in. The 23-year-old said “I’m Marcus Rashford, 23-year-old, black man from Withington and Wythenshawe, South Manchester. If I have nothing else I have that.” he further added “I’ve grown into a sport where I expected to read things written about myself. Whether it be the colour of my skin, where I grew up, or, most recently, how I decide to spend my time off the pitch. I can take critique of my performance all day long, my penalty was not good enough, it should have gone in but I will never apologise for who I am and where I came from.”

Rashford is good with penalties but he failed to score one in the final against Italy. One mistake made many of his supporters against him and some even vandalised his mural. The letter changed their hearts and people came in numbers to spread a positive message and hide all the bad comments from the mural.

England Captain Harry Kane MBE also condemned the racist abuse. Kane thinks that if anyone abuses any player then he’s not a fan and they don’t need them. The England National Team board also condemned the racist remarks on all their social media platforms and share awareness. The people of the United Kingdom were heartbroken after the match but they don’t accept racism in their society. People shared positive messages on their social media platforms and converted those three players into heroes (which they are).
We don’t know why they took that penalty but they missed it and that happened, there’s nothing we can do to change that. You may blame the player or the manager and maybe the whole team but let me tell you one thing. You should be proud instead that your team made it to the final. It doesn’t matter if they didn’t bring it home. We the fans of football are a big family and there is no place for hate and racism here.
