Switzerland wins over France in a dramatic draw | Kylian Mbappe miss penalty

A match of high anticipation where the World Cup winners were underestimated at the start of the match but they bounced back into it and showed all of us why they’re the World Cup titleholders. A match where both the players and the spectators were tired. Everything about this match was unique and can’t be missed for anything. The Swiss players were focused in their heads even during the penalty shootout. Kylian Mbappe the french wonderkid missed his penalty and gave the quarter finals to Switzerland.

The French showed real class in the second half to come from behind. A brace from Benzema and a superb goal from Pogba did the trick. Manchester United fans might be wondering why he doesn’t do these things for them when he plays for them. Let me clarify one thing for them, it took Pogba 38 shots to score this goal for France. Pogba didn’t score any goal for France since the World Cup. The first penalty shoot-out of Euro 2020 happened between these two giants.

The Swiss men were persistent and committed to their goal and got a late late equalizer. Nobody expected this from Switzerland but they surprised us all with their performance today. The recovery from 3-1 to 3-3  is remarkable. There aren’t many teams who can pull this off in front of France. Xhaka showed his Premier League experience and was a key part of the Switzerland team.

Perfect performance by Big Benz today with 4 shots and 2 goals. The French team played like winners but Switzerland was able to take possession quickly and do the damage. The weather was severe for the French players in Budapest, one of the reasons why their gameplay was affected. Mbabu the swiss player ran in multiple times and was troubling them repeatedly. Haris Seferovic is the hero of Switzerland, he scored a brace for them and kept their dreams alive till the last moment.

People expected better from the French superstar Kylian in his penalty shoot out. One of the biggest lessons in the life of Kylian, these situations will shape him for better. France were the stronger side but sometimes weak sides are better than the stronger side. Better luck next year.
