AC Milan signs Oliver Giroud from Chelsea
Oliver Giroud signs for AC Milan after spending 3 years in London with Chelsea. Oliver will sign for a 4/M per year deal with AC Milan. AC Milan will buy the player in €2M. Giroud’s transfer was well anticipated as his form started to decline in the previous years. He’s older now and his pace has also been reduced in his time at Chelsea.

Giroud may be old and slow but it doesn’t mean he lost his value and skills. The French Chelsea man surprised everyone by scoring 4 in one match in a UEFA competition against Sevilla. After the post lockdown period, Giroud helped the team reach the top 4 and to our surprise, they won the Champions League this year. The Covid stages were worse for every club but Giroud kept them in form and his goals contributed to the success of Chelsea. Oliver Giroud has scored some of the best goals of the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea, now he is accepting a new challenge in a different country.
Thomas’s Chelsea is brimming with quality and young players. Tuchel believes in modern ideas and love to play his young players ahead of the old one’s, Thiago Silva and Azpilicueta are maybe an exception. Tammy Abraham was not given the chance to prove himself for Chelsea and now he has wasted his expensive time by staying at Chelsea. However Giroud didn’t lose his charm and he impressed with every chance he got, mostly as a substitute. Despite being more inclined to young players Tuchel praised Giroud ” he is on top level “.
📰 @86_longo: The deal between #ACMilan and #Chelsea for Olivier #Giroud could be really close to a positive conclusion. New meeting today between the parts: personal terms already agreed with the player (4M/year). Probable little indemnity for #Chelsea to let him leave. pic.twitter.com/GrsFTZ9BRu
