The fans of Manchester United are having mixed opinions on the signing of Leon Goretzka. The player experienced great success with the German Champions Bayern Munich, he has a year of contract left with Munich and is expected to be offered a contract extension by the club as he is young and well aware of Bundesliga. According to reports, Leon Goretzka wants a raise in his new contract offer with Munich, the player earns a €6.5M base salary and his club will offer him around €12M on his new contract extension. Meanwhile, people say that Man United is offering him more money and he may consider this new option. It’s not likely that he may join United but there is still a possibility and with the Pogba situation nothing can be said.

If Paul Pogba decides to leave Manchester United at the end of this new season then the club will surely want a good replacement for him in midfield. In 2006 United signed Pogba for a whooping €110M from Juventus. Both the player and club experienced little success together and there’s a high possibility that he may want to leave and try somewhere else. If Pogba leaves for free then it will be a huge setback for the team as they paid a massive amount for the player with his big wages (around €20M). Pogba is a French national and PSG will likely love to get him for free next season.
If he leaves United then signing Goretzka may be an ideal choice for the club. The player is well experienced and has faced difficult situations during big matches in his time at Munich. A lot of people think that going from Paul Pogba to Leon Goreztka might be a degrade as Paul possess some qualities that are unique and make him special.
