Jesse Lingard leaves Manchester United?
Jesse Lingard is expected to leave Manchester United after enjoying success under his former boss David Moyes in West Ham United. During his time in United Lingard struggled to score or provide for the team but things changed as he got more time to play and moving away even helped him clear his head.
I really hope @JesseLingard does comes back but if he don’t - it’d be a shame but I wish him all the best. Gave his all for us & without him; we certainly wouldn’t of qualified for Europe.

Lingard has been a part of United since a very long time and the main reason for loaning him was that Ole could’nt provide him with enough time on field and it wasn’t his fault because Lingard was in poor form.
Apart from a disturbed professional life he was facing problems in his personal life too and moving away was the best choice for him. In his 2020-21 campaign Lingard scored 9 goals in 16 appearances and provided some beautiful assists for the team too.
In his latest interview Lingard stated that :
“After going on loan and getting a good run in the team, you started to see the real me, with the goals and the assists. I’ve never doubted my ability, I’ve always believed in myself. I spoke to the manager in pre-season and said, “I need game time”.
Ole replied “We can discuss it December time” and aftern that they decided to loan him to West Ham United.
The Fans of West Ham United love him and the management also hinted about keeping the player. Most importantly it looks like Jesse loves this change and would ask the management to let him stay at West Ham for another year or sell him in summer.

Lingard was upset upon not being called up for Euro 2020 even after a successful season but he respects Southgate and understands his requirements.
Those Manchester United fans who were hating on him now they want him back but as he’s getting his form back. Staying at West Ham would mean more game time and going back to Manchester would mean re-uniting with his team mates and face new challenges in a different way.
A tough choice that Jesse will have to make in some time.
