Harry Kane Confirms Leaving Wembley

Harry Kane has been surrounded by rumours for the past few years, almost all his rumours end up in thin air. The player is surrounded by transfer news and an immediate departure but nothing is confirmed yet.

The England National is expected to move to Manchester City but the Tottenham boss doesn’t want him to leave and at least not to any Premier League side.

Harry Kane is making it clear for many months that he wants a move-out. His club also picked his hints and they don’t want to lose him. Kane currently has a contract till 2024, the club can agree to let him go or they can force him to stay.

Daniel Levy priced him at £160M which is too much even for a player of his quality. The expected buyers recently made a big signing by buying Jack Grealish for £100M and they will have to manage their finances for making any other massive signing.

The player added more fuel to his rumours by not showing up for pre-season training for Tottenham after the international break. It’s been two days of total absence of the player in his club. This action sends a strong message to the club and everyone else that he wants to move out and he’s persistent. A single action from Kane has rocketed his transfer rumours.

Kane not showing up for training sends all kinds of messages and some people will interpret it wrong. Jamie Carragher was furious on Kane after learning what he did, he said on SkySports:

“He’s on a legal contract with Tottenham Hotspur, so if he doesn’t turn up today then he’s starting some legal consequences for not turning up to the training ground.”

“And he’s disrespecting his teammates as well by the way. Whether he wants to leave or not, I think this is the key part.”

Some people justify the actions of Harry Kane and think that it was the best thing to do if the club won’t let him leave. If he visits them and continues to play at Tottenham then he won’t be able to move back anywhere in 3 years. A bold move by the player towards the club.

According to some rumours, Chelsea is also interested in signing him. The current Chelsea targets are Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku, if they fail to sign any of these strikers then the club may go to sign Harry Kane. The real problem is the price put up by Tottenham to buy Kane, no club can freely afford to sign a single player for £160M, at least not after the economic disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

If Kane doesn’t show up in Wembley for training he will certainly get into a lot of trouble. We may see him back in some days and everything may come back to normal. Nothing is confirmed yet as the player himself hasn’t shared any news about him missing the pre-season training.

The future of Harry Kane is uncertain, it got more complicated after Manchester City sign Jack Grealish.
