Real Madrid Not Signing Any New Defender | A Galactico Signing In Making?

The past few years have been very difficult for Madrid fans as they lost many of their heroes, they still keep leaving. The recent departure of Sergio Ramos was a massive shock for Real Madrid supporters as he had links with the club for 16 years.

People were recovering from the shock of losing Sergio Ramos and it got worse. Raphael Varane is ready to join Manchester United in this transfer window. A lot of us saw Varane as the next player to look forward to in the absence of Sergio Ramos.

The separation of two ex-Madrid players will make a huge void in defence for Real Madrid. Marcelo is the new captain of Real Madrid while David Alaba will be the expected partner with Éder Militão in the centre back position. Alaba usually played as a full back in his time at Bayern Munich which does not mean he can’t play as a centre back, he is versatile and can play in a variety of positions.

Real Madrid doesn’t plan to buy any new defenders for the upcoming season in this transfer window. The current defenders are good but we can expect mistakes from them, the players will have all the responsibility on their shoulders.

The master tactician of Madrid Zinedine Zidane left them and Ancelotti has taken his position, the last time Zidane left Madrid, it was a disaster for the team and their fans.

They were unable to win El Clasicos which are the most important matches of La Liga, Zidane came back and won it for them.

It is clear that Perez wants to make a ‘Galactico’ signing in this transfer window. The club is selling their players to increase their budget to sign Kylian Mbappe. The player is linked with the club since the time he joined PSG. People of Madrid want to see Kylian Mbappe in Santiago Bernabeu but little did they know it will come with a huge sacrifice.

Adding Kylian Mbappe to the team will increase their attacking strengths but the recent developments in defence may weaken them if things didn’t go their way.

It is rumoured that Odegaard is also expected to leave again on a loan to Arsenal and this time the club may add a buy out option in their contract. Arsenal have different targets insight and so they won’t be able to afford to buy him, they will make a loan offer for Martin Odegaard. The future of Odegaard is uncertain and it looks like Madrid will agree to set him loose.

The club suggests that no player is ‘Untouchable’ and any team can buy anyone with the right price tag.

Florentino Perez is trying to pull off the same stunt he did in 2009. Things are not falling in place for him but everyone expects Real Madrid to announce some shocking signings before the end of this transfer window.
