OFFICIAL: Messi Leaves Barcelona | End Of An Era

The Sun has risen from the west, the robots have taken over this earth, reports of zombie sightings in China are emerging and there is no electricity for any of us. Yes! The world is coming to an end. The unimaginable is happening in front of our eyes and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Leo Messi is officially leaving Barcelona for the first time as the club failed to renew his contract due to financial obstacles preventing him from a new contract. Earlier both the club and the player agreed for a contract extension after being surrounded by transfer rumours but now the news directly comes from the board of FC Barcelona.

Who will lead the attacks of FC Barcelona? Who will dribble past 5-6 players just for fun? Who will score beautiful and impossible freekicks for them? Who will defend the captain’s armband better than Messi? Who will make the fans of FCB proud after every match?

The short answer is ‘No One’. There isn’t a man born on this earth yet to do all the things for any club. The void after the departure of Leo Messi will be too deep to fill in and I don’t think any player will come close at least in our lifetimes.

It looks like the club tried to keep him but they are too broke to afford him. Barcelona forced him to stay last year when he wanted to leave and now they suddenly can’t afford him? The recent developments in the club are tragic and they will pay dearly for this decision in future.

Leo Messi is the greatest player in the history of Barcelona. The player did everything for the club just to get an inadequate farewell by them. The FC Barcelona in their latest short statement on the departure of Leo Messi said this,” FC Barcelona wholeheartedly expresses its gratitude to the player for his contribution to the aggrandisement of the club and wishes him all the very best for the future in his personal and professional life”. Believe me, Messi deserves better for all the titles he laid down on the lap of this club.

Leo Messi will be remembered as the Greatest Player ever to walk the surface of Camp Nou. People will never forget Messi and his name will always be among the best.

The career that Messi lead in Barcelona is incomparable.
