Will Mohammed Salah win the Ballon D'or?
The main man of Liverpool and the best player in Egypt’s history is easily the most underrated player of all time. Unfortunately, his current club fans don’t recognize his contribution to the team. Mo Salah is one of the most important players in the Premier League with the likes of De Bruyne, Cristino Ronaldo, Paul Pogba and others.

Numbers speak themselves when it comes to Mo Salah. The player already has 29 records in his name since the time he moved to Liverpool. The Egyptian is now compared to Henry, Ronaldo and Alan Shearer after proving himself on many occasions when it was required.
Fans of Mo Salah complain about him getting the foreign treatment in the Premier League and how he is always robbed of from winning individual titles.
Since signing for Liverpool in 2017, Mo Salah has only missed 4 games through injury, with one of those being a concussion, while he has never missed more than one game in a row.

Does Salah really deserve the Ballon D’or?
Ballon D’or is the biggest award for any football player in this world and to win it confirms that they are a certified legend. In the last decade, the title was the property of two individuals claiming it every year. The other players try hard just to achieve the nomination or in the top 5.
Mohammed Salah won the Premier League in 2018 and two consecutive Golden Boot in 2017 and 2018. The success of Mohammed Salah in the Premier League might be the best shot of him winning the Ballon d’Or 2018. The Egyptian was nominated as the fifth-best player in 2018 and eventually lost to Lionel Messi alongside his teammate Virgil Van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo. Salah’s 44 goals and 13 assists were not enough for him to achieve the title.

Mohammed Salah is again nominated for the Ballon D’or 2021 but this time he stands in the 15th position making it more difficult to lift the title. Salah scored 22 goals for Liverpool in the 2020 season and now he has 6 goals and 3 assists in 7 apps for the 2021 season. It’s clear that Mohammed Salah won’t win the title again in 2021 and will have to do better in the upcoming years.

Jurgen Klopp managed to assemble a strong team who are title contenders every season. In recent months their attack is getting sloppy. Sadio Mane proves to be a crucial player along with Mohammed Salah but his work rate has drastically reduced in 2021. Firminho is still the main attacking forward for Liverpool and he is still not sharp enough to attack and help the team.
Salah is unable to reach his maximum potential due to these players as they don’t get together like they used to. The through balls provided by Mo Salah are not converted by them and it results in fewer assists for him. Liverpool consists of some really good playmakers but they need to involve Salah more in their attack.

If Liverpool treats Mohammed Salah just like Real Madrid did with Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at the club. It will assure Salah winning the Ballon d’Or in the future. Salah is just 29 years of age.
