Does Varane want to Join Man United?

Yes! Varane was expected to move out of Real Madrid for a long time, he feels that his time in Real Madrid is finished. Raphael Varane wants to face new challenges and he’s quite young to take them. Apart from all this, there are very few players that won’t like to play for Manchester United, they are certainly the Premier League club with a long history filled with stories of great players.

Will Real Madrid allow this?

After the departure of Sergio Ramos, the club is currently low on players in his position. After Ramos the only well-experienced choice is Nacho but they don’t see him as their first choice, he is more like their backup in times of need. If we keep Nacho aside only Varane has the ability and experience to play in competitive games. If the player wants to leave then maybe the club will allow him otherwise they have 1 year of contract left and can force him to stay in Madrid. 

Are there any other destinations for Varane?

Along with Manchester United, many other teams have their eyes on Varane. PSG can snatch the player away from Manchester United if they get serious about the player. PSG may choose between Ramos and Varane as they’re linked to both of them in rumours. Ramos is a free agent and may take less salary compared to Varane, chances are they won’t go for him. Chelsea is also rumoured to be interested in him but there has been no contact between Chelsea and Varane.
