Great Players Who Scored In Four World Cups

The World Cup is that event of football that doesn’t require much marketing. If your country isn’t playing or they got knocked out during the competition it doesn’t matter. World Cup holds a special place in the heart of football fans for many reasons. There cannot be any person who loves football and he denies having their best memory of each World Cup he witnessed, if he does then surely he’s lying or he is a highlight watcher from Youtube.

Scoring in a World Cup match isn’t for everyone. When you play for your nation it’s different than playing for your club. The crest on your chest means more than money, fame or family. Only a few players keep up their good form in World Cup. The players mentioned below are already considered great among the greats and they don’t need an introduction.

1: Miroslav Klose

Klose is the best attacker in the history of Germany, holds the record for the most number of international goals for them. People born after the late 90s won’t know him much but those who were blessed to be born before that understands the true value of Klose. He was a star and a champion in the eyes of millions of Germans and people across the World.

The quote ‘try try till you succeed’ perfectly suits Klose as he won the World Cup in his fourth attempt. Miroslav Klose holds the record for the most number of wins by a player in World Cup history. The Germans were unbeatable with such quality players in their ranks.

Seeler was a prolific goalscorer and was elected thrice as the German Player of the year netting 43 in 73 appearances.

3: Pele

Pele is the undisputed Greatest Player Of All Time (GOAT) and the World Cup is his playground. Before Cristiano and Messi there were no debates about who is the greatest footballer among them. Pele has achieved and made many records in his name, some of his records will remain forever.

Just like Kylian Mbappe was the wonder kid for France, Pele also helped his team on a big stage at a young age. He scored a hat-trick against France in the semi-final and a brace in the final. Won the World Cup at just 17 years of age in 1958. Only player in the history of the sport to win the World Cup three times. Greatest goalscorer of Santos with 643 goals in 659 games. For a lot of people, Pele is still the greatest player ever.

4: Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo is by far the best Portuguese in the history of Portugal. He holds the record of most goals and apps for his country. Completed his latest feat of being the highest goalscorer for the country surpassing Ali Daei. Cristiano is passionate about his country and always tries to give his best.

Cristiano had a magical career until now and will be remembered for decades for all the things he did for the beautiful game. Ronaldo is the captain of Portugal for a long time but with little luck to win the title. Tons of sweet and sour memories of the player in every World Cup he played in.

Ronaldo looks in good shape and is positive for the World Cup 2022. It isn’t too difficult to predict that Cristiano will make his record in his name and score in the fifth consecutive World Cup tournament.
