Jesse Lingard is shown exit | Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and West Ham interested

Jesse Lingard is that extra phone you have which you think isn’t good enough, but when used in dire need it’s better than the first choice. For a long time, Jesse Lingard was rotting in Manchester United and was seen as a liability. Many things disturbed the player during his time at United and all those things affected him negatively. Lingard was loaned to West Ham United for the previous season as United had enough players for his position. Since then the life of Lingard changed and we got to see a completely different player.

The contribution of Lingard in West Ham was of paramount importance. The England national scored 9 in 16 matches and provided them with four assists. The player who scored just four goals in six years at United was doing wonders for the Hammers. West Ham qualified for the UEFA Europa League and ended up at the 6th spot. Sometimes a change is all we need.

The rumours of West Ham buying Jesse permanently are persistent for months after a successful year with them. According to recent rumours, West Ham is asked to pay £30M for the player but it might be too much for them. The club is delaying in completing this transfer while other clubs are getting interested in him. If it goes like this the club will lose a valuable player.

AC Milan is the latest club to have an interest in the player. It was an unexpected move by the Italian giants but this may happen if their interest is strong in him. AC Milan will be more than willing to buy Lingard for £30M. Apart from Milan, it looks like Atletico Madrid are also getting their interests in the player. Atletico Madrid will lose Saul Niguez in this transfer window and they will want someone to replace his position for them in the next season.

West Ham United are the favourites to sign him but if they don’t then AC Milan looks like the second-best destination for him.
