Liverpool are in advance talks with RB leipzig for Ibrahima Konate. Liverpool wants to make this deal happen and so they will try to activate the release clause €40M which is a bargain for a player of his quality. Ibrahima Konate is the second version of Virgil Van Dijk for Liverpool fans and everyone wants this deal to happen.

Problems might arise if the player himself doesn’t wants to go to Liverpool. After hearing all the intense transfer rumours about himself Konate reacted about it in the interview.

The other problem for Liverpool would be that RB Leipzig doesn’t let the player go and convinces him to stay. The director of RB Leipzig sent a strong message to Liverpool

It all comes to down Liverpool and how bad they want this young talent. If Leipzig interfere Liverpool can activate the release clause and snatch the player from them. Konate can surely be the perfect partner for Virgil Van Dijk. Konate is fast, tall and can score too.
