Knee injuries are generally created by twisting or bending force applied to the knee pain. Symptoms of meniscus tearing include swelling, redness, tenderness.
In October 1999, Ledley King appeared at Pride Park against Derby County. During that match, centre-back Rory Delap was on the verge of receiving a tackle that required surgery on King’s left knee. Not only that, Argentina’s Fernando Redondo, former Norwegian footballer Alf-Inge Holland (Erling Haaland’s father), and Brazilian footballer Ronaldo also suffered serious knee injuries.
Between 1994 and 1999, Ronaldo scored 115 goals in 134 games before his first knee injury.

When the ankle is forced to move away from its normal position, it sprains, causing one or more ligaments of the ankle to stretch and tear completely. In football, it is very common to put one’s foot on another player’s foot during a tackle, so it happens quite often.
While playing against Liverpool, Alan Smith broke his leg and dislocated his ankle. Captain Francesco Totti suffered a serious ankle sprain while playing against an Employee. Abu Diaby, Jack Wilshere and even three-time Ballon d’Or winner Van Basten suffered serious ankle injuries.
15 years ago, Totti suffered from a serious injury to his left fibula only 4 months ahead of the 2006 WC.

The hamstrings are tendons at the back of the thighs that attach the large thigh muscle to the bone and when there is a strain or tear to the tendons, this is called a hamstring injury. The hamstring muscles are used during activities that involve bending the knee, such as running, jumping. Symptoms of meniscus tearing include sudden pain, tenderness at the back of your thigh and so on.
It is that one kind of injury that involves players the most well-known footballers to the young footballers too, everyone has had a hamstring at some point in their career. According to research, approximately 1 in 5 professional footballers suffer from a hamstring injury in a full season. One of the very dangerous hamstring injuries in football history happened to a former English player, 2001 Ballon d’Or winner Michael Owen. It was at Elland Road in April 1999 that he ruptured his hamstring playing for Liverpool and, after that, Owen did not possess two sets of fully functioning hamstrings. He would play for the rest of his career with three tendons in one of his hamstrings and two in the other.

A meniscus tear is a common knee injury that can be painful and excruciating. In fact, a meniscal tear is one of the cartilage injuries of the knee. Meniscus crying is common in contact games like football. It is a piece of cartilage that protects the bone from decay. In some cases, a piece of torn cartilage breaks and gets stuck in the knee joint. Symptoms of meniscus tearing include knee pain, swelling, and so on.
Many well-known footballers have gone through it, including veteran former Spanish legend Fernando Torres and Italian legend, one-time Ballon d’Or winner Roberto Baggio. Both have suffered these injuries twice in their careers. Former England and Chelsea FC captain John Terry suffered the injury during a match against Portsmouth in January 2012. Uruguay forward Luis Suarez and young Barcelona forward Ansu Fati were also injured in a meniscus tear.

An ACL injury is a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament that is one of the strongest bands of tissue that connects the femur and tibia. This injury is very common in football. Injuries commonly occur when a player puts their feet on the ground and tries to rotate their body with that planted foot, placing their weight on it. For this, a twisting force is created across the knee joint which must absorb the ACL.
Many well-known footballers, like Radamel Falcao, Alan Shearer, Del Piero, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Roy Keane, Xavi, Francesco Totti, Robert Pires, Virgil van Dijk suffered ACL injuries.
